Fantastic resource, not just for IB course!

I have just started teaching IB (the "traditional way") and am loving the ideas from this site and blog about how to make it more engaging for students...definitely big plans for my next cohort!
I was actually able to get my school to purchase this resource though for a non-IB psychology course and have found it FANTASTIC! We are a smaller state with our own curriculum and criminology is an option for us to cover in our Social Psych unit however it is really hard to find high-school student appropriate resources to teach Criminology from a psychological (rather than sociological) perspective. Students love the opportunity to include this topic though and these resources have given me the confidence to teach it appropriately - thank you!!!

Useful Teaching Resource

Lessons have a clear structure, a range of thinking skills are incorporated into the lesson and the formatting of the documents are appealing to students.

I asked our school to purchase this resource and have not regretted it. My students love the way the studies are explained. One student who moved to another school even asked me If he could borrow the book when he was reviewing for the exam. Obviously his school did not have your resource. Thanks!

I bought the teacher support pack and I am absolutely thrilled with it. The lesson plans are amazing and give so much variety. This is exactly what our tired teenagers need for a first lesson of the day. My students are really enjoying their psych classes.

So Engaging

This is the first unit I taught. I downloaded the preview pack to see if I was even interested. I loved it! It covers most of the Biological Approach and it totally engages the students. My students loved learning thematically and it made a lot more sense to teach it this way. Travis will always answer questions and clarify things as well as send out updates when he changes something or tries out something in his own classroom that works better! I love that!! You won't be sorry that you tried this!
