Chapter 4: Memory - Bundle (2025 Edition)
Save yourself some time with our Support Pack and eBook Bundle. Everything you need to start teaching IB Psychology is here.
The title speaks for itself - "Memory" is all about how and why we remember. Filled with highly relevant content like the effects of repetition, technology and culture on our memories, the unit takes some of the most challenging IB Psych content and breaks it into manageable chunks. For the IB Psych exams, it is half of the Cognitive Approach content and the Learning and Cognition Context. The other half is in the next unit - Manipulation.
The key critical thinking concept in this unit is measurement. How can you measure memory if you can’t see it? We will look at different methods psychologists use to measure cognitive processes, and you’ll be challenged to find limitations with these methods as well.
