Just as good second time around!

I'm on my second year of teaching using themantic education now. The 'shine' of the new resources has not worn off and I am finding it just as great this year as in past years. The students love it and I am keen for many years of use from this resource still to come!

Kickstart your classroom

I couldn't be happier to have adopted the themantic method in my classroom. The lessons are detailed, varied and fun. I'm always excited to see what the next lesson's activities include, and I know my students feel the same way. Buying this resource pack and complementing it with the textbook has made HUGE changes to my classroom for the better - my students are less stressed and overwhelmed with the amount of studies they have to learn, as the themantic method can get through more with less, and the time they do spend on the topics results in deep learning, not just rote learning studies. I highly highly recommend buying this TSP, as well as all of the other resources on the website, after trialling the Criminal TSP and now the Social Influence TSP I have no hesitation in getting geared up to use the PTSD TSP. Thank you, Travis! Lifesaver

Absolutely worth it!

The Social Influence Support Pack delivers like every other support pack. It is well organized, scaffolded and full of great resources to maximize engagement and learning. This support pack provided some of the resources I've been wanting to develop but haven't been able to spend much time to on cultivating across a whole unit.

The unit builds really nicely and is a great addition to the textbook. The topics are independent enough to be used individually outside of the Themantic Approach or can be moved around if needed.

With the support pack the groundwork is nicely laid out for a solid course and allows for plenty of customization. I feel like I am years ahead of where I might be if I were doing it all by myself. Especially recommended to any psych teachers who don't have another psychology teacher to brainstorm with and cultivate ideas. Travis remains very approachable and is super helpful with any questions regarding the material.

We have used the Themantic Approach to teaching Psychology since the introduction of the new IBDP Psychology syllabus. The teacher support packs, blogs and the manner in which we have been able to adapt the resources to the multicultural student population being taught have made the preparation of the course efficient and time effective.

The integration of learning technologies has been terrific and a massive time saver as well a wonderful way to monitor student progress.

As we commence the review for the first round of external exams in May 2019, the students are benefitting immensely from a reduction of studies to remember and a much deeper understanding of Psychological Phenomena as the themantic approach has enabled them to see the links between biological, cognitive and sociocultural approaches to Psychology.

I strongly recommend the themantic approach and fully endorse the products that Travis and his team have prepared.
